Marina Replacement & Park Improvements

DESCRIPTION

City is currently working on a plan for improvements to the Umatilla Marina and RV Park. This process will make lasting improvements to this park.

Why it's needed- The City of Umatilla conducted a Park Master Plan project in 2021 that included significant community engagement through focus groups and surveys. During this process, citizens indicated that they would like increased access to the rivers and greater opportunity to recreate on the rivers. This project will help achieve these goals by upgrading and reconfiguring the marina layout to meet existing and future demands of motorized and non-motorized river users. The enhancements to the RV Park will also allow more visitors to enjoy this valuable recreational space. The project aligns with the City Council's adopted goal "Promote a vibrant and growing community by investing in and supporting quality of life improvements".
