-Public Works- Contact: Scott Coleman DESCRIPTIONA privately constructed facility to convert Columbia River water into ultra-filtration water to supply industrial customers and to eventually supply the city with potable drinking water so that they city can get off the current aquifer. Why it's needed-This treatment facility is needed as the current aquifer is dropping at alarming rates. The City chose to use the Columbia River as it is the largest sustainable reservoir in the North West. FINANCIAL
