Waterline Break on South Hill – Service Restored, Water Advisory in Effect for those affected / Rotura de línea de agua en South Hill - Servicio Restablecido, Aviso sobre hervir el agua en efecto para los afectados

UPDATE (5:40 PM): Water service has been restored for all affected residents. Please note, if you experienced a complete loss of water service, the boil water advisory remains in effect. Water quality testing will continue periodically until satisfactory results are confirmed.

UPDATE (2:45 PM): If your water was not shut off or you only experienced a reduction in pressure, there is no need to boil water.

This is to inform our South Hill residents that a waterline break has occurred, and Public Works has temporarily shut off the water to make repairs. Almost all residents on South Hill are currently impacted by this disruption.

We do not have an exact restoration time, but we estimate water service will be restored by early evening. We will continue to update this post as more information becomes available.

Important: Once water service is restored, a boil water notice will be issued for South Hill. This notice is expected to be in effect through early to mid-next week until we receive satisfactory water sample results.

ACTUALIZACIÓN (5:40 PM): El servicio de agua se ha restablecido para todos los residentes afectados. Tenga en cuenta, si usted experimentó una pérdida completa del servicio de agua, el aviso de hervir el agua sigue en efecto.
